Wow, it is hard to believe that in one month or less I will be holding my baby boy in my arms!! My official due date is December 5th so Wednesday marked the one month countdown.
It was also when I had my official 36 week appointment with my doctor. I decided to actually get dressed in something other than “comfies” so I thought it was pretty important to document it. Ha!
Honestly, it does feel good to wear something other than sweats or workout clothes every once in a while. Because I work at home, there isn’t much effort put into my day to day look much of the time. Plus, I’m nine months pregnant which means my belly is starting to outgrow a good portion of my maternity clothes.
My appointment was pretty routine. My blood pressure looks good, my weight looks good and at this point, baby boy is measuring to be on the smaller side. When I say smaller, I actually mean average. Camryn was 7 pounds 2 ounces when she was born and to me, just a tiny little thing.
Liam on the other hand was 8.5 pounds and though that isn’t massive, he was quite the chunk. My doctor predicts that this lil’ guy will follow in his sisters footsteps but I guess we shall wait and see.
I have made it a bit of a habit to treat myself to a big ol’ burger after my monthly/weekly doctor appointments. It’s weird because normally, I am NOT a fan of red meat but cheeseburgers have been my biggest craving this pregnancy.
So yeah, a lunch date with my husband happened. At Red Robin. Every little bite was amazing….. until about 30 minutes after I was done eating. Let’s just say that I regretted overeating something bad as I was burping up burger the rest of the day. Yes, I’m disgusting, I know. I also know that my cravings for burgers have come…..and gone!
On another note, I have to share with you that I already managed to get 3/4 of our Halloween candy out of our house. Thank goodness!! I’m not one who minds my kids keeping some candy around but the amount we had was just a bit ridiculous. The kids school is having a candy drive so that they can send it overseas to our US troops and that was just the incentive we needed.
I told my kids they could choose a small amount to keep(it was somewhere between 10-15 pieces) and the rest was being bagged up and sent on it’s merrily little way. Surprisingly enough, my kids were actually okay with it. I think they liked the idea of choosing their favorite candy to keep and you know, it just makes you feel good to do something nice for others. #momwin
Plus, not having candy in the house keeps ME out of it, so there is that, too!
Now it’s time for some fun. Let’s play a little game here. A guessing game.
Will little boy Riley come early, on time or late? Give me your best guess with a specific date!
How much will he weigh?
Here is what I think:
Arrival date: November 28th which is the day before my birthday. I don’t know why but I just have a feeling….
Weight: 7 pounds 6 ounces…..that is just my random guess!
