Here I sit, shocked that today is already September 5th! Just the other day(okay, several weeks ago) I was blogging about my kids returning to school and feeling sure that I would have the time to start blogging regularly again. Blogger fail! I’m about ready my accept my prize for “worst blogger in the history of blogging” if anyone is handing one out?! Actually, it’s not so much that I haven’t had the time but I’ve been lacking some creativity on how to jump in and what to write about. Plus, I’ve been really bad about snapping pictures lately. I definitely need to get better about that, not only for the blog but for my personal use, too.
Anyhow, I saw that Jennifer at Life in The Green House decided to take on a challenge of blogging everyday in the month of September to kind of jump start her desire to blog more regularly. What a great idea! She is following the prompts given for “Blog-tember“, an annual blogging challenge hosted by Love Bailey Jean. I’ve decided to do the same BUT, I will be doing a modified version because I need it to work for me and let’s be honest, going from non-existent to every.single.day might be a stretch for me. Progress not perfection, right?
Eventually, I would love to get on a daily posting schedule but for now, I’m going to keep it realistic and aim for three days per week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday! If for some reason, I feel some extra motivation, an extra day or two may happen but I’m not making any promises. I will also be picking and choosing the topics that I find will be most interesting for me to write about from the provided ideas.
I’m not going to count today as part of the Blog-Tember challenge so this week, I will post on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
